A-Player Talent Acquisition

Challenge:

  • Our client needed to add A-player talent for a newly created role of Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). This independent company was nearing a sale to a PE group and needed to quickly add talent to increase their international growth rate.

  • Based in South America, the company needed a multilingual leader who had expertise in sales, account management, customer success, and marketing.

Solution:

  • Leveraging our pool of curated A-player talent, Top Line was able to swiftly introduce “a needle in the haystack” candidate who met all of our client’s needs.

  • We created a scorecard for the CRO role that clearly articulated the mission of the role, the business outcomes that needed to be achieved, and the competencies that were required to be successful in the role.

Results:

  • We enabled our client to hire A-player talent in six weeks and had an offer letter for the CRO executed prior to their sale to the PE group.

  • We recommended and delivered six months of assimilation coaching so the newly hired CRO would be in the best position possible to deliver the results outlined in the scorecard.
