Susan joined Top Line Growth Partners with more than 15 years of HR experience, working across all areas of people operations. As a former Chief People Officer in two high-growth organizations, Susan has been responsible for leading the effort to attract, retain, and develop top talent. She has designed and delivered innovative change initiatives to create exceptional employee experiences while balancing the needs and realities of the business.

Susan has deep expertise in organizational design, HR, instructional design, L&D, talent development, and change management. Her work spans a wide range of industries- including software, retail, healthcare, logistics, and financial service. She is a values-based leader who brings both grit and gratitude to her work, with a passion for helping people and organizations operate more effectively. Susan thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution, partnering with leaders to build the systems, skills, and structures needed to scale.

Susan’s community involvement mirrors her interests in life, helping to ignite, inspire, and empower people and organizations to thrive. She has served on the board of The READ Center and the University of Richmond Q-Camp Advisory Committee and as a Director for the Center for Non-Profit Excellence in Charlottesville, VA.

Susan holds a bachelor’s degree from Randolph-Macon College and a master’s degree in organization development from American University.

In her free time she enjoys playing disc golf, traveling, reading, entertaining her friends and family, and playing with her dogs Hugo and Hank who keep her on her toes.
